Description
We are looking for a Gis Business Analyst to work at our multinational client in Stockholm/Sweden.
Expected tasks and deliverables by the Consultants
- GIS technical support on designing the architecture
- Design and implement the Geo-database
- Developing and maintaining centralized web-based GIS services
- Preparing different types of geospatial analysis using ArcGIS software and various techniques;
- Following-up geospatial developments in other projects
- Support the development and customization of the Web GIS component
- Customising web-based GIS (based on ESRI technology);
- GIS technical support on implementation of ICT infrastructure.
- Managing geospatial data collection and maintenance including processing geospatial data
- Maintaining technical GIS reports and documentation on achieved tasks and deliverables;
- Performing any other supporting tasks related to his level of expertise.
Educational and experience
- University degree with minimum 4 years experience in GIS
- Strong knowledge of the following standards: (WFS), (WMS), Shapefile
- Certification in Project Management
- Strong knowledge of data classification/summarisation algorithms for GIS
- Proven experience in developing Enterprise GIS solutions for International Organizations
- Very good command of English; oral and written
- Extensive experience in developing and working with SOAP/REST map services
- Extensive experience in GIS technical documentation writing
- Experience in development for Sharepoint technology
Competences and skills
- Excellent knowledge of ArcGIS Server 10
- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS for Sharepoint and ArcGIS APi for Silverlight technology
- Strong familiarity with the EU INSPIRE directive
- Extensive experience in UML modelling and OOP design
- Extensive experience in sourcing, formatting and processing GIS data.

- Strong knowledge of different geospatial methodologies, tools, analysis
- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS suite (preferable version 10 suite)
- Professional experience in its practical application (including ArcInfo, ArcGIS Server)
- Geodatabase Design, implementation
- Basic Web GIS development for specific data mapping
- Creating Thematic Mapping
- Perform spatial analysis by using GIS software Metadata Standards, including INSPIRE
- Relational databases and knowledge of MS SQL
- Knowledge of using Business Process Modelling Notation, BPMN
- Good skills with MS Visio or Business Studio
Candidates must have a passport of an EU member state or a valid work permit for Sweden.
