Description
My East Midlands based client requires the services of Functional Integration Engineer for an initial 3 month contract with likelihood of extensions.
The Role:
A specialist in the use Ordinary Train Control (eg relay logic), Train Control & Management System (software based data bus system) to integrate third party procured systems such as Propulsion, Battery and Auxiliaries, Doors, Brakes, HVAC, Signalling, Smoke detection, Train Data Recorder, Lighting to achieve the train level functional requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Making sure that functional design/integration train meet the customer requirements/legislative standards
- Managing design of electrical schematics including design of relay logic and electrical interfaces with supplier's equipment
- You must be a good communicator and have the ability to interact with other departments to ensure that design solutions meet the train functional requirements.
