This position will design, develop and maintain test plans, test specifications, automation testing frameworks, testing tools and automated test suites. Principle tasks will include load and performance testing. Emphasis for this role is on testing high performance/availability, object-oriented software in a multi-tier, distributed environment.
OVERVIEW:
- Write test plan and test specifications based on functional specifications of system under test.
- Design, implement and maintain software testing frameworks and tools to support test automation.
- Troubleshoot and fix test harness and test data problems.
- Design and Implement automated test to verify Back End integrity (data mining).
- Identify and report the defects of system under test.
- Perform bug isolation, reproduction, classification and tracking through resolution.
- Interact with Program Manager and Software Development Engineer regarding overall product design and project schedule.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong C# and SQL skills
- Passion for software testing and quality engineering with strong attention to details
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development
- Comfortable multitasking flexibly on short deadlines in a production environment
PREFERRED:
- Azure background
- TFS experience
- Knowledge of web services
- Experience in software API testing or White Box testing
- Load testing experience
- Experience in developing or testing consumer E-commerce system
This contract position is expected to be 6months + in duration.
