Description
Our client is a leading Oil and Gas company with a global presence. They currently require a Finance Analyst for a 6 month contract to work within one of their major departments. The role is to assist with a major SAP project where multiple Legacy systems are being migrated into one. The Accountant will be responsible for working with the project team in co-ordinating the reconciling and cleansing the balance sheet and master data for migration to the new solution.
Duties will be to:
Manage the data cleansing process and the day to day management of 2 data cleanse analysts; Contribute to the cleansing of historical transactional data in the existing ERP balance sheet accounts; Contribute to the cleansing of master data in the existing ERP; Manage a data cleansing tracker to keep a record of all changes; Contribute to the reconciliation of data pre- and post-conversion; Applicants should be qualified accountants with both CODA and SAP experience along with experience of an IT migration project.
