This role focusses on providing Manpower support for NCNP CSG Logistic Branch in the inventory and warehouse activities. The role is based at two locations around Naples.
Background information:
- Logistic Branch is responsible for providing local logistics services such as CIS property accounting, inventory management, stock control, customer requisitions management, material receiving and dispatching and local warehouse activity.
- The services (manpower support) requested by this contract are related to the execution of all above addressed logistic tasks .
- In the present situation, in addition to the routine SLA tasks, the Log.
- Branch is asked to perform key tasks related to accounting the implications in the Logistic area of the NATO New Command Structure Agency Reform (wall to wall inventory) and to the preparation and the execution of the HQ relocation to Lago Patria of all CIS equipment.
- The Contractor personnel is expected to act with minimal supervision and to seek approval of solutions and recommendations from the Logistic Section Head. They will propose to the Logistic Branch Head solutions to practical problems based on find ings and resources available.
- Very good inter-personal and communication skills are required together with tact, judgment and adaptability in order to work harmoniously with colleagues and other staff, both civilian and military.
- Team work capability for this contractor personnel is a must.
- It is essential that the Contractor personnel possess extensive and in-depth knowledge of CIS Logistic operational environment.
- Incumbent should be able to demonstrate a strong track record in this field of work over a period of at least 3 years.
- Professional experience with automated Logistic Management Systems essential and prior experience of NDSS (NATO Depot Supply System) is desirable.
- Also desirable qualifications are previous experience with Cable Solve applications, DHS, Tasker Traker and CREW management.
Respnsibilities
- Maintains Inventories of CIS equipment repair and resupply items
- Analyses usage rates and the flow of equipment; prepares statistical reports to provide a management overview
- Ensures delivery of items to internal customers (warehouse front desk)
- Ensures the receipt, storage and issue of CIS equipment is properly accounted
- Applies effective internal management controls to ensure holdings are in line with the needs of the Sector and throughput is realistic and effective
- Ensure correct procedures are followed
- Develops updates and documents procedures to ensure they are effective and repeatable
- Tracks equipment in and out of the Sector
- Deal with external courier in the receiving/shipment activities
