COMPLIANCE MANAGER - HEALTH - COMPLIANCE - TESTING
Our client in Leeds is looking for a Compliance Manager to be responsible for the management of the existing System Provider Compliance Team and Test Design Team in the delivery of supplier releases. Your responsibilities will be to manage the Compliance Team providing team leadership, guidance and direction on all compliance and technical assurance issues, to agree testing processes with Programmes, to work with Lead Technical Architects and to act as the point of escalation.

Essential competencies for this role are as follows:
* In-depth knowledge of structured testing processes, defect management and testing documentation.
* Thorough and effective verbal reasoning and written communication skills, briefing up to Director level at short notice.
* Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales in a highly charged, political environment.
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of risk and quality management.
* Ability to understand both Health and supplier business drivers and identify effective and pragmatic solutions to conflicts between assurance and delivery.
* Ability to represent the business area at senior management forums.
* Proven capacity to assume full responsibility for a discrete business area, including staff management of up to 12 assurance managers and analysts and acting as the escalation point.
* Excellent knowledge of messaging essentials including HTTP, XML and SOAP.
* Proven experience of developing Assurance requirements and approach based on individual release types.
* Proven ability to review complex architectural designs and testing documentation in order to assure adherence to individual release requirements.
* Proven ability to proactively engage with and Matrix manage cross-Programme teams.
* Extensive experience of supplier management, at senior business and technical architect level.
* Must be available to work away from the organisation's base location at supplier sites across the UK as the role demands.
* Qualified to ISEB Practitioner in Software Testing or equivalent.
* Ability to tailor governance processes to meet the risk profile of a release.
* Experience of working with very senior stakeholders to ensure technical issues are impacted against clinical and technical processes.
* Experience of using test tools specifically Quality Centre.
* Knowledge of Spine services such as Summary Care Record (SCR), Personal Demographic Service (PDS), Choose and Book (CAB) and the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS).
