Project Manager - Operations - 12 month Contract

A fantastic opportunity currently exists to join our clients Operations Team. The selected Project Manager will be a member of the Strategy, Technology and Process Team who has overall responsibility for project management of the staff global travel requirements.

The Project Manager will support Global Operations, Relationship Management and Technology in a wide range of programs supporting the Travel 2015 strategy.

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Global Technology and Process Lead, the purpose of the Project Manager is to provide thought leadership & execution excellence across multiple global projects simultaneously.

This role is a key participant in the design, implementation and deployment of projects across all Travel departments - Operations, Relationship Management and Technology and requires a passion for process engineering, change management and delivering complex business solutions

Key Responsibilities

o Lead multiple complex projects and teams simultaneously across the globe.

o Develop a single project management methodology.

o Partner with the Operations, Relationship Management and Technology divisions to understand their strategy and support their project priorities.

o Identify and track key metrics critical to ensuring projects are on schedule, within budget and a success.

o Effectively communicate schedule and status as required for each project.

o Ability to partner across functions, divisions and geographies within the company. Ability to identify, understand and mitigate risks

Essential Experience

Extensive demonstrated work experience managing multiply complex global projects in a virtual environment.

Demonstrated strategic thinking, impact and influence through driving process change.

Proven results focus/action orientation - demonstrated ability to identify problems, determine root cause, collect data from various sources, develop solutions and drive implementation within tight timelines

Special Requirements/Additional Information

10+ years of related complex project management experience.

BA/BS in Business required.

Six Sigma Certification/PMP Certification or equivalent experience required.
