Our client, a large global IT outsourcer and business solutions provider, currently has an immediate requirement for a Service Request Coordinator/Helpdesk Operator to work within their service centre team.The position initially is a 6 month contract, but is likely to extend indefinitely in 6 monthly increments.The responsibilities of the role are;
- Monitoring and review of email queue, contacting customers as required to confirm requirements of requests
- Entering of requests from faxes, assignment of complex requests from the Remedy queue involving contact with the client as required
- Escalation of requests from email queue and telephone calls
- High focus customer support role with strong focus on meeting customer service levels
- Strong team player
- Strong excel experience

- Outstanding customer service skills
- Able to deal with all situations and to portray a customer service attitude over the phone
- Service Centre experience preferred but not essential
- Previous IT Experience is preferred but not essential
