Description
Our reputable Telecommunications Client is currently looking for an experienced Internet Services Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the support, development, maintenance and enhancement of key broadband Internet platforms and services. These platforms and services are focused on various ISP related technologies and protocols with an intensive use of the Perl Scripting language in a Red Hat Linux environment.
Essential Skills and Experience -
- Strong Background working for a Telco/ISP/Media Company
- Excellent Perl Programming Skills
- Solid Linux/Unix Skills
- Extensive Database Skills (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle)
- Extensive experience with CVS or similar
- SOAP Experience
- Sound Communication Skills
- Solid Team
