Our client is one of Australia's leading and largest Financial Services Organizatio that has expanded its operations beyond the Australian shores. The organization has a large range of financial offerings to both public and private clients across the retail, corporate and institutional banking areas. They have a very large technical footprint that combine a dynamic range of technologies in an ultimately complex landscape.
You will be joining the Enterprise Group within the bank's Information Technology division. This group is currently in the midst of a large program of work and is responsible for the onboarding of 400+ applications across the entire bank. Due to bank growth, the Enterprise Group is in the process of building in additional services to the monitoring platform and thus requires a monitoring specialist to aid in the effort.
Your role will be to assist the Enterprise Group in designing, building, implementing (multiple applications), and maintaining the enterprise-wide monitoring and alerting solution. You will be required to draw upon your specialization in the enterprise monitoring space and be responsible for gathering technical requirements, providing expertise, and assisting with the on-boarding of services into the platform.
Requirements of the role:
- HP Business Service Management (BSM), BAC (Business Availability Center), SCOM, Tivoli, Unicentre, or Solarwinds Monitoring Tools experience
- HP BAC configuration and report generation experience
- Windows and Unix Operating System experience
- Strong Documentation Skills
- VUgen script creation experience is desirable
- TCP/IP Networking, Security, and Performance Testing is desirable
- Knowledge of programming languages is desirable
