Senior Network Operations Engineer
Our client a leading telecommunications operator based in Brussels, are searching for a Senior Network Operations Engineer to provide technical support for the data network and services. As the Senior Network Operations Engineer you will design, plan, provision and support new service builds and access network expansion. You will also work with Pre - Sales by analysing data requirements and costs for the implementation of the new services. We are searching for a Senior Network Operations Engineer with excellent knowledge of Cisco core and customer Routers and Switches ( CCNP Certified ), along with Juniper ERX series, Juniper MX series and Juniper SSG series.
Essential Skills:
In depth knowledge of troubleshooting Data networks:
Data Equipment:
- Cisco core and customer Routers and Switches.
- Juniper ERX series, Juniper MX series, Juniper SSG series.
- Alcatel 7470 MSP and NM5620, ATM and Ethernet DSLAMs.
- Knowledge of SDH transmission, Layer 2, Layer 3 services, xDSL
- Engineering degree in a telecommunications/IT technology or equivalent level of experience.
- CCNP certified.
- 5 years experience working with Data networks.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, project management, planning, organizational and risk assessment skills.
- Customer orientated and service minded.
