Weblogic System Administrator ( Weblogic System Administrator )
We are looking for a French and Dutch speaking Weblogic System Administrator for a 5 month contract in Brussels to start ASAP.
The Weblogic System Administrator will be working on the following tasks:
- Provide business critical IT services to the customer.
- Administrate the Weblogic Middleware environments
- Secure the system availability and performance according defined service levels
- Ensure, on a daily basis, the control, integrity and accessibility of the Weblogic environments
- Provide incident isolation, remediation and documentation (incidents and problems)
- Reconfiguration of Weblogic systems, implementation of patches, upgrades and new software modules while respecting the change mgmt process
- Participate in Performance and Capacity management
- Participate in the definition of service improvements and innovations
- Maintaining operational documentation
- Permanently interface with the control and monitoring team
- Collaborate in changes/projects (eg setup of playground environments) and DRP exercises
- You will participate in the following ITIL processes:
- Incident management (troubleshooting)
- Problem management
- Availability management
- Capacity management
- Change management
- Configuration management
- Release management (acceptance and bring into production)
The successful Weblogic System Administrator should have experience in:
- Weblogic 10.3 on Windows and Solaris platforms
- Embedded LDAP of Weblogic
