Job Description:

The FHRMS Technical Software Analyst is responsible for overseeing optimized support for the entire FHRMS PeopleSoft application suite, PeopleTools upgrades, environment creation and refresh, and PeopleSoft environment migration. The FHRMS Technical Software Analyst would also be responsible for making strategic recommendations for evolving the PeopleSoft applications and support structure over time sufficient to maintain alignment with key Customer business initiatives and minimize Customer IT operating costs.

Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership, Strategy, and Management
Act as a technical expert in relation to the FHRMS application suite. Respond to Customer Service Requests as required.
Coordinate and support the analysis and resolution of processing problems in the PeopleSoft environment.
Provide consulting support on PeopleSoft processes and systems.
Analyze business requirements for all PeopleSoft software application fixes, bugs/issues, and enhancements.
Provide business process support for FHRMS project definition, implementation, and training.
Define and document processes, formal business requirements, and functional specifications as required for FHRMS program modifications and enhancements.
Provide project leadership for implementation of new modifications or enhancements to existing PeopleSoft applications.
Create test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts with documented test results.
Coordinate requirements with software vendors and follow through system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) as well as the plan, design, implementation, and evaluation testing.
Measure the success of product/service deployment in terms of usage, revenue and profitability.
Provide research and analysis for product/service recommendations that include descriptions of the service, processing considerations, expense and potential revenue analysis, benefits and risks.
Research product specifications, responsible for cost/benefit analysis.
Coordinate implementation projects with various Customer Departments, functional areas, and/or vendors.
Responsible for minor enhancements such as interfaces, reports, and validation routines.
Communication and Collaboration
Build strong and trusted relationships with Customer stakeholders in order to be viewed as a technical thought leader for Customer IT.
Meet with key stakeholders on a regular basis.
Provide status reports on a regular basis that demonstrate delivery according to service level agreements.
Communicate challenges and opportunities proactively and consistently to drive business performance.

Skills:
Experience with PeopleSoft HR/PR and Peoplesoft Financials
Background in basic accounting principles
Knowledge of PeopleTools and PeopleTools upgrade, installation, and configuration
Understanding of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture/PeopleSoft 8
Troubleshooting in the PeopleSoft environment
Knowledge of PeopleSoft data management tools
Knowledge of relational databases
Ability to read, write, and manipulate SQL
Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2
Understanding of Cobol, SQR, Application Engine, and PeopleSoft tracing
Project management
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
Knowledge of network topologies and protocols, specifically TCP/IP
Knowledge of hardware platforms and system security
Understanding of web technologies
Knowledge of DMZ and Firewall technologies
Knowledge of hardware and network architecture
Understanding of DHCP, DNS, and WINS

Background Check Requirements:
