Project Accountant - Edinburgh - £ months
RZ Group's highly reputable financial services client is looking for a Project Accountant to join their Edinburgh based team on a 3-6 month contract basis. The dynamic and specialised team within Group Finance, is where the main focus is on meeting key customer requirements for current and future Basel Regulatory requirements.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
*Working as part of a team to prepare month reporting for Senior Management This will include:
i.Production of actuals and subsequent analytical review to identify movements since prior period;
ii.Preparation of/and or review of manual adjustments;
iii.Working with key contacts to understand and obtain explanations for any significant movements; and
iv.Producing MI Packs and associated commentary for management and senior management review.
*Proactively seeking and presenting solutions for simplification via process improvements;
*Providing support to Manager in dealing with queries and investigations; and
*Ensuring a robust framework of financial control is applied throughout.
*Contributing to key Divisional projects as required.

Desirable
*Exposure to the Regulatory and/or Basel Framework
*Experience/knowledge of Business Objects and/or SAP
