Position Title: Cobol Developer
Duration: Contract- 6 months
Location: Birmingham, AL
Our client has an immediate need for two Cobol Developers for 6 month, contract positions. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical and non-technical communications skills, the ability to work independently and follow written business requirements, and will require little direct supervision. Prior experience in the banking industry is a big plus.

Minimum Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required- Computer Science degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years programming and analysis experience.
- Must be proficient in IBM MVS JCL, UTILITIES, and Cobol for MVS, CICS.
- Experience with VSAM and DB2 is a plus.
- Background in the banking industry is preferred.
