Senior Business Analyst - Banking - London - Circa £500 per day
A leading retail bank requires an experienced Senior Business Analyst to participate in a major divestment programme.
Purpose of the Project
The objective of the Verde Programme is to establish and manage the divestment of a stand-alone UK Banking business.
Purpose of the role
- A Senior Business Analyst is required to define impacts and mitigation solutions to Anti Money Laundering and Sanctions platforms and processes as the result of the Verde Programme.
- To undertake analysis of a variety of Sanctions solutions and procedures
- To support definition of modifications required for divestment
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Analyse and document business processes via modelling and process maps.
Core Skills and Experience
- Must have had exposure to Sanctions bank processes (specifically Customer Screening and Payments Screening)
- Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes and models
- Proven experience interacting directly with key business stakeholders and end users
- Knowledge of operating model review and re-establishment
- Analytical skills and good understanding of Payments industry, including best practice
- Knowledge of Payments systems, specifically those used by Lloyds Banking Group
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience within the Financial Services Sector
- Previous experience in integration or divestment
Additional Information
The role is based in London but may require travelling to other offices within London and Birmingham.
