Infrastructure Software Services Officer - Investment Banking
Key Kills:
SCCM, Windows O/S, Windows Office, CITRIX, AdminStudio, InstallShield, PowerShell, KIX32, VBScript, DOS Scripting, Bloomberg, Reuters, PrimeTrade
- Maintain and develop Windows Installer scripts to allow all corporate software to be packaged and installed silently via SCCM
- Maintain, develop and support Security updates for operating system and applications
- Maintain, develop and support the Bank standard build of Windows Operating System for the workstations in London and Resident Offices
- Maintain, develop and support the Bank's Citrix Environment
- Support of Market Data Services software including Bloomberg, Reuters, PrimeTrade and other non-standard trading floor software
- Provide technical support for the Bank standard build of Windows Operating System for the workstations in London and Resident Offices
- Manage and maintain the client workstations, software updates and data feeds at the Banks business continuity site
- Provide technical support for the Workstation login scripts and group policies
- Second and third level support for all Workstation software and infrastructure issues
- Support internal and external projects to assist in the delivery of technical solutions to the Bank
- Undertake tasks as directed by management
- A seasoned IT Systems Engineer with sound software and hardware experience on desktop infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows O/S, Microsoft Office, Exchange, SCCM.
- In-depth knowledge of packaging tools such as AdminStudio and InstallShield.
- Good knowledge of Market Data Services including Bloomberg, Reuters, PrimeTrade and other non-standard trading floor software
- Experience with a broad range of hardware manufacturers, particularly Fujitsu Siemens, Compaq and Hewlett Packard.
- In-depth knowledge of unattended and image based O/S installations.
- Experience with PowerShell, KIX32, VBScript and DOS Scripting languages.
- Sound project management skills.
- Demonstrated skills in team working.
