Description
IBM Webshere Portal Developer. Our client a large global company seeks an experienced WebSphere developer to work closely with Business and Development teams and the architect and team leads to build and deliver solutions to production. Webshere Developer will also work with project Technical Leads to identify critical/new components for early performance profiling or load testing. you will be required to also work with project Technical Leads to for database design and portlet design and you will be working with team lead for the design decisions. You Will be the resident expert in IBM WebSphere Portal, Web Content Management (WCM) and Application Server technologies (Ideally both v6.x and v7.x). Senior developer will need to Ensure that release conforms to all security standards and other non-functional requirements, Fix application known defects or defects encountered in production, Troubleshoot application or application integration issues and help to resolve, also Carry out deployments of updated applications, Support testing team by incorporating testing changes identified by User acceptance testing, Create/update relevant document based on the modifications and fixes done.

Experience,
In general minimum years of experience are 6-8 years in same field, 6 years of J2EE development experience building web-based applications, 4 years practical development experience with WebSphere Portal Server, including Portlet Development; Portal Themes, Portal Security, Content Management, Experience in developing JSR Portlets, JSPs and Servlets, SOAP-based Web Services, Experience in Server Side Java/JEE programming, web-based application development (HTML, Javascript, AJAX, XML), J2EE Servlet/JSP development experience, J2EE framework development, Experience in (Struts, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, etc.), object-oriented design and related tools (UML, Rational, Expertise in integrating J2EE components like EJB, Servlets with Portal, Experience in applying J2EE security, Concurrency, Transactions, Session Management, J2EE Patterns, and Frameworks to application solutions, Work on more than one project involving new Portal/WCM Development,
Skills & Languages,
Good communication skills, Customer facing. Team work. Good English communication read write, Arabic language is good add-on but not etirely necessary.
