The contract is with a large consultancy in Brussels to be on an assignment at a major European site.
The details are as follows:-
Technical skills:
- Good Scripting knowledge in VBScript is a must
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, ..
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Office, ..
- Knowledge of T-SQL
- Knowledge of Altiris, WSUS is a plus
Linguistic Skills:
- Good level in French and English (spoken & written) is mandatory
Soft skills:
- Ability to work independently in a team
- Flexibility
- Stress resistant
- Professional experience in large environments is mandatory
Description of activities:
- 3rd level support (opening calls at external companies, helping 2nd level to solve a problem when they are not able to)
- Group Policy Management
- Software evaluation
- Software packaging (with VBScript)
- Software deployment with Altiris NS
- Creation of hardware independent images
- Hardware evaluation of computers and laptops
- McAfee management
- Creation of reports in SQL
- Management of Pc's mostly via Altiris with the help of VBScript
- Office templates creation
