Description

Develops, maintains and supports the SQL Server database environment. Participates in projects relative to the design and implementation of physical database objects. Provides guidance to developers on their data access needs. Works with systems administration on hardware and operating system level requirements in support of the deployed database software. Proposes ways to improve the environment. Leads and participates in medium to large projects requiring analysis and design skills.

process of upgrading our workstations to Windows 7. To accomplish this, we are using some discovery tools to help us understand the number and types of applications installed in our environment as well as the application compatibility. In addition to this we need to test our applications for compatibility. The candidate that we hire will need to help us build a database that has a Front End interface as well as reporting capabilities.

  • Creating dashboards and web-based user friendly front-enter interface for SQL databases
  • Creating queries and reports
  • SQL Development - ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)
  • Able to import and export data from external SQL databases
  • Able to merge multiple databases into a single repository
  • Able to provide solutions and process improvement analysis
  • Knowledge of TransactSQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, PHP and IIS
  • Solid business analysis skills
