Description
This is a year long contract. Hours are 3 p.m. -11 a.m.
Essential functions:
Perform analytical and conceptual work to detail how equipment or system will function. Develop complicated designs, circuits and schematics. Provide engineering expertise with regards to planning, preparation of plans and specifications for new equipment or process. May develop and execute test plans for equipment or system. May be required to direct and manage technicians and/or designers. Will be required to self-manage.
Required skills:
Bachelor Degree of Science in engineering discipline/Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Project management experience (a plus). Management experience (a plus).

Preferred: 3+ years.
Technical competencies:
- Maintain all mechanical packaging equipment. This requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems. A working knowledge of toner packaging equipment (fillers, conveyors, robots, etc.) and electrical systems (drives, motors, encoders, logic controllers, etc) is desirable.
- Investigate and troubleshoot equipment failures and work closely with maintenance personnel.
- Develop preventative maintenance plans and upgrade equipment.
- Read instrumentation and device manuals and work with little or no direction. If for a consultant, nature of project.
