A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Project Manager to be based in Madrid. Our client is a IT company and keen to bring on board an experienced IT Project manager on board for a period of 12 month contract with possible extensions to follow.

The IT Project Manager will possess the following skills and experience:
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
- Good evaluation skills
- Good communications skills - written and verbal in Spanish and English
- Great IT skills combined with a good head for business
- Good leadership skills
- An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
Job Functions:
The IT Project Manager will have the following Job Functions:
- Speaking to your management team/clients to find out what they want and to advise them objectively on where IT might make a difference to the business
- Planning the stages of the project and how each affects the business
- Co-ordinating the project team
- Agreeing costs, timescales and standards to be met and monitoring these through the project
- Adjusting the plans where needed
- Making sure there is a smooth change over from the old system to the new one
- Keeping management and clients updated on progress
- Evaluation of each project stage and once completed
