Summit Developer - Structured Interest Rate Derivatives - Western Europe1000 + 1 Year Contract
The client:-

Tier one investment bank with significant reach and reputation in global Interest Rates Derivatives markets are currently looking to hire an experience Summit Developer to help migrate and upgrade their Summit system from their other key banking systems. The Summit Developer will need to have expert level business knowledge as well as having knowledge and prior experience in developing the Summit system. Due to the environment, the Summit Developer will need to be able to manage his and others workloads so therefore some experience in running projects would be advantageous.
Responsibilities for the Summit Developer - Structured Interest Rate Derivatives - Western Europe
(Summit, Developer, Front Office, Interest Rates, Front Office, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
- To migrate key Front Office systems to Summit
- To liaise with the technology teams, business users and senior stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are being met and best practices are being maintained
- To stick to tight development deadlines set by the business on mission critical applications.
The person: Summit Developer - Structured Interest Rate Derivatives - Western Europe

- Experience working in a dealing room
- Expert in C++ (some Java is useful)
- Commercial experience developing Summit
- Cross product knowledge (esp. Interest Rate Derivatives)
