We're looking for a solid Tech Support candidate with experience using ticketing systems, fixing printers, and supporting A/V in a corporate environment. If this describes you, contact us immediately!
OVERVIEW:
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
- Monitors ticket queue to ensure all tickets are being addressed, assigned, followed through to resolution, and users contacted in a timely manner
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Works under immediate supervision
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to support business software in a corporate environment.
- Experience to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair client desktops, laptops and printers in an office environment
- Experience with DELL products a plus
- Printer experience to troubleshoot multifunction and single user Xerox and HP printers
- Basic repair and ability to determine root cause of printing issue
- Windows 7, Office 2K10 expertise to troubleshoot and fix Operating System errors and issues
- Ability to repair and customize full Office 2010 Suite of software and train clients on interface
- Ability to follow all SLA's for client issues
- Audio/Video experience including basic polycom and projector support skills
- Experience providing telepresence support
- Must possess ability to work directly with clients, and communicate progress while working toward resolution of issues
- Strong customer service skills and will follow through with clients, even after issue has been resolved
- Ability to work with clients over the phone as effectively as in person
- Ability to cooperate with team members to quickly and efficiently resolve issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take an assigned project, own it and see it through completion
- Consistency and the ability to multitask effectively
- May require an Associate's Degree or equivalent
