This role is a fantastic opportunity to lead business operations at a new cutting edge insurance business.The role:
- As part of the Executive Team, drive strategic vision and direction
- Formulate and implement the company's governance, programme management and people management policies, standards and processes.
- Review policies, standards and processes to facilitate continuous, measurable improvement.
- Sets the strategy for management of resources and authorises allocation of resources for the planning, developing and delivery of all services and products.
- Build capacity and capability by leading a diverse team
- Manage the contract and commercial development with external companies
- Work with stakeholders to identify, drive, capture, implement and transfer innovation and best practice across all activities
- Minimize and manage operational risk.
The Candidate:
- Has a broad and deep knowledge of Life Insurance and associated organisations
- Proven Track Record Delivering Strategic Business Growth within a Life Insurance Organisation
- Strong Commercial Awareness/Capability
- New Market Identification and Development
- Proposition Development Experience
- Strong people management with tangible result orientated approach and style
- Excellent stakeholder management experience, confident and capable of advising and engaging to board level, adding value at all levels.
- Strong leadership and line management skills with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate large and diverse teams
- Ability to work at both strategic and detailed level.
- High levels of energy, drive and commitment.
- The ability to quickly establish credibility and gain respect from operations staff and other managers.
- Self sufficient and results orientated.
