WebSphere MQ Administrator - Brussels, Belgium and Luxembourg - English speaking
(WebSphere MQ Consultant, WebsphereMQ, WebSphere MQ, WebSphere-MQ, WebSphere/MQ, WAS, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Applications Server, WMB, WebSphere Message Broker, Web Sphere, WebSphere Consultant, WebSphere Administrator )
One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a WebSphere MQ Administrator to perform installation, configuration, problem determination, tuning, upgrades and migrations for different versions of WebSphere MQ.
Experience with WebSphere Application Server is desirable and integration of WAS with MQ.
Candidate should have a great potential and will be able to support major activities outside working hours.
Initiative taking and teamplayer skills are a must.
Required Skills & experience:
- Advanced knowledge of different versions of MQ and optionally Message Broker.
- Knowledge of Apache web server and IBM HTTP server.
- Knowledge on different versions of WebSphere WebSphere Application Server administration and integration with MQ.
- Experience on WebSphere Portal Server, Content Manager and Edge Server will be a plus.
- Good Windows & Unix Skills in order to facilitate WebSphere administration tasks.
- Experience in performance monitoring/tuning for above products
- Experience in optimization/capacity planning for above products
- Experience in troubleshooting for above products
- Good English language (written and spoken) is a requirement.
- French speaking is a plus.
Other requirements:
- Needs to be on-call
- Weekend coverage is required.
- Travel is required.
