Description
Our client is seeking a Group Financial Controller to be responsible for Group financial planning, performance and stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities
- Implementation of new Group financial planning budgeting, forecasting processes focusing on business drivers
- Custodian of the Group's financial projections and modelling
- Commercial reviews/support of new business opportunities including bids and M&A
- Management of the Group's funding requirements and banking groups
- Support project manage the exit process dealing with external advisors
Person specification:
Essential:
- Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA Accountant
- Experienced PE FC/FD with the maturity, gravitas and experience to influence senior colleagues
- Strong commercial bias with a proactive hands-on approach
- Ability to
- initiate and implement change
- work flexibly, under pressure, and to meet demanding deadlines
- prioritise and manage conflicting demands
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable:
- IPO and or PE exit experience
- Raising finance in public markets
- Relevant commercial bid and M&A experience
