Description
Looking for a Wintel Level 2 administrator with 3-6 Years of experience3+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment (atleast 50-60 Servers)
Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3 Servers with knowledge of NT4.0
User Account administration
File and Printer administration
Patch administration and deployment
Fine-tune the system for optimal performance
Troubleshooting Clusters and related issues in a SAN environment
Experience in atleast one backup tool - BackupExec/Netbackup/Arcserve/Legato
Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.
Must have aptitude and attitude to learn/work on new technologies.
Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
Good documentation skills
Should have a good customer handling skills
High level of acceptance
Can drive HCL's value and its methodology
Worked on Production systems
Experience with OS, Installation, Upgrades and Patching
Datacenter understanding
Knowledge of VMware is a Plus
Working Knowledge on Cluster
Job Responsibilities:
Adhering to SLAs
Reporting to the Track Lead/Team Lead
Helping team members in case of Issues/Technical Problems
Handling tickets/requests
Troubleshooting technical issues
Ensuring that the processes are adhered to
Responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA
Responsible for building/maintaining a test environment
Implementing new technologies and design changes
Applying patches/upgrades to maintain security level
