Description
Rapid Storage Technology - This position requires architectural design for next-gen security storage features as well as other features in the RST stack and developing the proof of concept. Most development tasks will be in C/C++ on Windows PCs. Contact us right away to be part of the development team that moves such new features to product!
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Windows driver development and debug/mentoring junior developers when necessary
- Working with Marketing and Planning to develop requirements for storage products
- Prototyping or conducting proof of concept and technical feasibility exercises on future software features and products
- Writing detailed Software requirements specifications and Software architecture specifications (UML)
- Estimating software resource and skill requirements for storage software projects
- Reviewing and providing strong feedback on product software architecture specifications and design specifications
- Working very closely with customers, OEM's and end users on product definition which requires excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, good communication and leadership skills
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years' experience in C/C++ and Object Oriented coding skills
- Excellent programming skills
- 5+ years' experience in Windows WDM device driver development experience
- Must have strong problem solving skills and communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem solving skills
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- 7+ years' experience in Software Development Life Cycles (SDL) or Agile or Waterfall
- Knowledge of applied cryptology and security concepts at both the hardware and software level
