This request is for an onsite resource at to provide end-user and break-fix IT support.

OVERVIEW:

  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Works under general supervision
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area required
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Knowledge of joining multiple spreadsheets, to include and exclude datasets as required
  • Thorough understanding of Outlook's calendaring tool
  • Understanding of Exchange functional accounts and how they are used within Microsoft technologies
  • Ability to provide consistent, excellent customer support to entire staff, representing a variety of personalities and management levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and self-motivating
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Must pass background security check

Preferred Skills:

  • HP Accredited Platform Specialist (APS) Certification - HP Commercial Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers
  • Collaboration experience including remote control of PCs and video conferencing knowledge
  • Deliverables to include ensuring the proper levels of run and maintain support and hands-on assistance for IT infrastructure projects/upgrades
