Project Manager
Description: Responsibilities:
To oversee deployment of cost-efficient and effective plans for wireless technology projects to achieve committed business goals and objectives.
Manages complex projects or multiple projects of moderate complexity
Helps to converts business cases to actionable project plans
Ensures project issues are tracked, managed and resolved
Develops and implements project communication plans
Ensures cross-track dependencies are identified and managed
Required to know or learn CLIENT-IT's project and process methodology and execute it within the established CLIENT and CLIENT-IT organizational framework and oversight processes
Manages coordination across multiple stakeholders from both IT and Business to ensure project objectives are met
Coordinates deliverables of other CLIENTIT groups, consultants, vendors and subject matter experts as required
Manages and resolves issues within scope of responsibility and escalates when appropriate
Manages full project life cycle and end-to-end accountability for results
Actively drives the program
Minimum Requirements:
6+ years project management experience with complex IT projects or multiple IT projects of moderate complexity
8+ years experience in infrastructure and/or facilities experience
Demonstrable project budget responsibility and management of Matrix teams
Can match appropriate IT methods to identified clients needs
Strong planning, coordination and process management skills
Customer service oriented to assist client with articulating business problem and project requirements
Knowledgeable with gathering customer/project requirements
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Time management and task prioritization skills
Proficiency in MS Office Productivity tools as well as MS Project and project management methodologies
Must have good planning skills, be detail oriented, well organized, problem solving/analytical, self-directed, team focused, and results oriented individual
Experienced with resource management, procurement management, project tracking and risk management
Associates degree required
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelors degree required or equivalent work experience
Project Management Professional (PMP ) from the Project Management Institute preferred
Process background and certifications, eg. Six Sigma, ITIL and or Agile
Healthcare industry knowledge preferred
