Description
Reporting to the Subsea ITO & Subcontracts Sourcing Leader for all aspects of delivery of the sub contracts for the Phase 2 project.
- Responsible for ensuring all legal requirements and business policies and procedures relating to health, safety, environment, quality and integrity and ethics are rigorously applied within his/her sphere of influence.
- The key interface between the Sourcing, Project Teams, the Business Units, Sourcing departments, key suppliers and on occasion customers, with specific regard to the management and control of Subcontract
- Responsible for ensuring that all Projects have effective Subcontracts, and that these are managed, controlled and expedited in a professional and efficient manner, in accordance with the requirements of the Project and the Global Sourcing Strategy.
- Each subcontract should include any project specific terms & conditions, any delivery/quality/cost risk and variation tracking tools.
- The communication of these subcontracts to Operational Personnel, Project colleagues, suppliers and clients are critical to their successful implementation.
- Responsible for coordinating subcontracts, ensuring adherence to Project strategies/requirements and ensuring alignment with Customer requirements.
- Responsible for supporting the project in ensuring that all subcontracts are commercially managed to place Business in the least risk and best commercial position to deliver and improve on its financial targets.
- Responsible for the efficient and professional management, control, expediting and On-Time delivery of Subcontracts and supporting other sourcing specialists and Projects personnel in all matters relating to such Subcontracts.
- Responsible for ensuring relevant Sourcing personnel are aware of all applicable Project Subcontracting requirements.
- Responsible for Project specific Subcontract status reports as required and monthly reporting against strategic plans.
Requirements
- Experience delivering Sub contracts in the oil and gas industry
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Supply Chain.
- Minimum of 4 -5years within Supply Chain/Sourcing.
