Description
Entry level accountant - 6 month contract - Edinburgh - £15/£17 per hour
Entry level staff accountant required for a global financial client in Edinburgh. You will have a sound grasp of excel, excel formulas and the ability to work with minimum supervision once given a task to do.
Main Duties:
- Perform routine duties and data analysis for mutual funds or separate accounts
- Reconcile various accounts, research variances and correct as required
- Conduct daily verification of capital flows
- Conduct ad hoc research and analysis
- You will also be required to perform other tasks as directed
Desirable:
- OEIC or Unit Trust knowledge
- Previous Financial Services Industry Experience
- Bachelors in accounting or finance or equivalent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a 6 month contract which has the possibility of extension.
