Description
A well know Finance Company is Urgently seeking 3X Senior Project Managers to lead and deliver end to end projects. You will be responsible for a standalone project or work directly for a Program Manager on a larger-scale organisational-wide program. You must have finance experience and preferably Wealth/Superannuation project experience. These are contract roles.
Responsibilities
- Managing the end to end scoping, requirements, development and implementation of assigned project portfolios
- Regular status reporting, issues and risk management and usual Project Management tasks
- Planning and managing organisational change aspects of projects within program
- Actively monitoring and managing project issues and risks
- Coordinating all stakeholder tasks and managing stakeholder impacts
- Establishing, managing and reporting on project budget
- Develop the business case supporting the project and monitor change to ensure achievement of financials and scope including a comprehensive assessment of cost, benefits, fit with strategy, the approach and the plan.
- Ensuring all business stakeholders comply with agreed project processes and quality standards
- Proactive communication with all stakeholders both internally and externally on release timeframes and management of expectations
- Management and support of project team resources (IT and business) to ensure successful delivery
Essential skills:
- Minimum 7+ years PM experience in Wealth or Superannuation
- Strong experience with new product builds, compliance, organisational, time management and planning skills
- A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Economics or Information Technology and preferably a post-graduate qualification (ie post graduate diploma/degree/Masters qualification)
- A project management professional with an AIPM Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM), PMI
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
- Experience in Banking and/or Financial Services.
- Demonstrated experience of negotiating effectively at a senior level
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate ability to capture requirements clearly and concisely
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed global organisation
- Proven ability to use initiative in solving problems
