Position: Mechanical Design Engineer (SC Cleared)
Location: Warrington
Term: 6 months
Job Description:
Our client a Leading Engineering Company are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer and will work closely with the Mechanical Design Engineers on the projects to influence the design definition.
Previous experience of design substantiation and knowledge of the design codes and standards applicable to the Nuclear industry would be an advantage
Ideal knowledge of structural design, welding and manufacturing in a Nuclear environment, though experience gained within other highly regulated industries will also be considered.
Essential Skills:
* Mechanical Design experience
* Experience with Engineering Design Software tools such as NX/ANSYS/MathCAD/PRO Engineer
* Structural Design, Welding, Manufacturing
* Excellent communication skills
Due to the nature of the work undertaken the ideal will have to undergo a Basis Security Clearance check and people who hold current SC Clearance will be of particular interest.
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
