My client is looking for an Operations Manager with experience of working within the Telecoms industry to be based onsite in Dublin at least 3/4 days a week.

The Operations Managers role is to implement a Business to Business telco operational model. It will include the definition, documentation and delivery of an end to end operational service between a large corporate Telco (IT and network) service provider and MVNE/Os.
The current contract and service is being renegotiated and this needs to be agreed, backed off with customers and suppliers and deployed to the live service.

The role will involve:
Monitoring and managing the performance of the 3rd party suppliers to our Customers
Defining, managing and improving the process of Incident Management across the service, backed off to the new contract
Defining, managing and improving the process of Problem Management across the service, backed off to the new contract
Supporting capacity management of the service
Input into regular service reviews of the 3rd party suppliers and service to our Customers
Acting as the escalation point for our Customers for incident or problem management

The successful candidate will have years experience in the core network and IT areas of telecommunications, having either managed external suppliers to provide a full service solution or been employed by one of the UK networks to manage their internal systems. Strong knowledge of Prepay networks and MVNE/O business is central to the success of the role.

To fulfil this role you will need:
A sound background in managing an outsourced operational relationship
Clear supplier and contract governance experience
Hands on experience in incident, problem, capacity and service management
A background in Telecommunications (covering Prepay Networks and IT, preferably MVNE/O models)
To be service focussed, with the foresight to see operational improvements and opportunities and the tenacity to make those changes across a number of different organisations.
The ability to travel, often at short notice, within the UK and Europe.
