Our Kingston client is seeking a Sr. BA/QA for a 6 month contract to start

Responsibilities:

Create/maintain the business architecture, contribute to feasibility study, cost/benefit analysis, business case, and risk assessment

Make and communicate planning decisions, monitor and report any changes in requirements, manage and report status of business analysis progress against project plan

Identify and use relevant modelling techniques and templates to document business requirements

Perform gap analysis to identify capability gaps, create/maintain models to help articulate the business requirements, identify key business metrics, investigate and communicate evolving requirements with stakeholders to ensure they are complete and feasible

Create a complete and accurate Business Requirements Document, determine appropriate requirements communication objectives and approaches, conduct stakeholder review to obtain approval

Ensure that solutions meet stakeholder objectives, review technical design deliverables, conduct usability assessment, support User Acceptance Testing efforts as required, participate in Quality Management assessments of processes and deliverables

Knowledge/Experience/Certification

5+ years work experience as a Business Analyst and/or in insurance/financial services industry

CBAP or IIBA designation

Knowledge of and experience working with Canadian Segregated fund and insurance industry products

Knowledge/experience with Ingenium versions 6.2 and higher

Knowledge and understanding of Transfer Agency processes in support of segregated funds

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of Citi's Unitrax system

Seg fund conversion experience

Knowledge and understanding of Ingenium system integration components (FASAT, FundServ, general ledger (MSA) Datawarehouse knowledge
