System Analyst, Level III Our client in Liverpool, NY is looking for a Systems Engineer- Scada to perform Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) engineering and Inter Control Center Protocol (ICCP) duties as assigned by the CNI manager. Participate in the successful completion of the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of the EMS Replacement project. Participate as a project technical resource to establish standards, content, and procedures for CNI documentation and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in accordance with company and industry best practices for Real Time and power system application systems. Identify and perform as a contributor to project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Update and create documentation as a contributor to NERC CIP compliance deliverables as a subject matter expert.

Job duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
SCADA Engineering: Configure Energy Management System (EMS) Real- Database and Scan Data for RTU and ICCP resources to include definitions for: SCADA Substation Accumulator Status Analog Analog alternate limits Scan type Scan command Redundant data Database generation and online database updates Man/Machine interface configuration Console Security Alarm Presentation Display Presentation Historian System Master Parameters and System Constants configuration control Control system configuration Alarm Processing, Alarm Limits, and Calculations Information configuration Historian, Energy Scheduling and Accounting, and Disturbance Analysis configuration Power Applications configuration Automatic Generation Control (AGC) Configuration and Tuning Technical System/Regression

Education: BS or MS in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
