A major Global bank is looking for a Credit Risk Project Manager. The Credit Risk Project Manager will join a significant and complex Risk System and Change Programme. The Credit Risk Project Manager will be required to provide substantial Team delivery in order to deliver a number of critical and Strategic initiatives across Risk System and Change, including the introduction of a number of new systems and changes to credit risk scorecards and models.

Key Responsibilities

*To ensure a common understanding of the business needs and the project deliverable s.
*Where required, prepare and deliver reports or presentations to senior/top management to obtain approval and sponsorship.
*Co-ordinate and/or contribute to the design, development and specification of new/revised processes and systems, documentation, training materials, etc
*Develop and maintains effective working relationships with appropriate colleagues in own and other business units, ensuring key stakeholders are identified and effectively managed
*Aid with the creation of project plans. Ensure that business and IT plans align in conjunction with the IT Project Manager
*Define project governance processes and document within the Project Management Plan
*Provide support and expertise to the business in terms of the business case approval phases
*Assist in the review of project documentation that is produced (eg Feasibility Studies, Functional Specifications)
*Identify and assess dependencies and put in place and manage dependency agreements
*Assist with the management of the IT relationship and relationships with Third Party suppliers to ensure development is completed to the required specification, within timescales and to agreed budget

Essential Skills/Experience

*Previous debit card and/or prepaid card and/or mobile debit experience is essential
*Broad Credit Risk experience from a Banking environment is a MUST HAVE
*Strong issuer & scheme knowledge essential
*Supplier management essential
*Project Management and planning experience is key
*Explains or presents factual information to individuals or groups in a structured, clear, confident and concise way avoiding the use of jargon
*Strong presentation/facilitation skills in order to draw out a consensus view within a group discussion
*Develops and maintains relationships with key contact in all relevant areas; strong stakeholder management
