As of immediately I am looking for a SENIOR IT Strategist for Contracting & Procurement for one of our clients in The Hague. Minimum duration of the contract is 8 months +, 40 hours per week.

Job Purpose:
Main purpose of this role is to support the Contracting & Procurement CIO Manager in the definition of specific segments of the IT strategy for Contracting & Procurement, understanding current state, identifying and framing opportunities, documenting vision, strategy and plan, submitting to and revising with the IT and Business through 1:1 sessions and in workshops.

Principal Accountabilities:
First deliverables are:

  • Vendor Data Management IT strategy & multi-year plan
  • Material Data Management IT strategy & multi-year plan
  • Material Management IT strategy & multi-year plan
  • Contracting & Procurement Reporting & MI IT strategy & multi-year plan
  • Vendor Channel IT strategy & multi-year plan
  • ERPs alignment strategy
  • IT Innovation funnel

    • Key/Special Challenges:
    1. Establishing collaborative working relationship with all stakeholders through early engagement and earning respect by providing high-quality expertise.
    2. Developing in depth knowledge in a complex environment (business and IT)
    3. Working globally and virtually
    4. Business community

    Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Seasoned IT professional with experience in IT Strategies definition
  • Experience in the Contracting & Procurement Function
  • Experience in the Information & Data domain
  • Strategic thinker
  • Analysis & synthesis
  • Proven leadership & negotiating skills and ability to drive change using influence and networking.
  • Deliverable-oriented with focus on results. Doer/Hands-on attitude.
  • Ability to initiate, plan and develop according to plan thou coping with a level of uncertainty and risk.
  • Organised and methodical
  • Rigorous and thorough
