My client, Global IT Blue Chip Company is looking for experienced UNIX SPECIALISTD to join their team.
Immediate start required!
Skills required:
Similar five + years Unix experience required
*Experience in upgrades, patching and troubleshooting required.
*Degree/Diploma in IT/telecoms an advantage
*Unix Shell Scripting.
*Familiarization with SAN attached storage, both disk and tape.
*VIO, NIM, LPAR, HACMP and HMC experience required.
*Detailed Design/Deployment experience required
*Knowledge of protocols LDAP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, SSH and TCP/IP Networking.
*Redhat/Suse Linux experience a distinct advantage.
*HPUX/Solaris experience a distinct advantage.
*Security hardening experience required
*Customer focus and ability to work alongside customer on customer site.
