Implementation Manager - Banking
A leading Retail Bank based in Manchester is seeking an Implementation Manager to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work with senior level professionals in a highly respected organisation. This is a business change role not a technical/IT position.
The purpose of the project is to ensure that Business Readiness and Transition activities are managed and delivered in line with industry timescales. You will support the implementation of a BACS web portal for non-core brands to ensure they meet the industry milestones for the electronic transfer of ISA.
Key responsibilities will include:
Ensure a comprehensive and achievable project plan is in place,
Delivery of the plan, to time, cost and quality,
Collaborative working with all stakeholders,
Progress reporting in line with governance and project requirements,
Conformance of project with all internal and external requirements.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):
Experience of Project or Programme delivery,
Planning at Project and Programme level using MS-Project,
Strong stakeholder management skills,
Workshop management and facilitation,
Presentation skills - both in terms of documents and orally,
High levels of knowledge and skills of MS Office product set.
As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.
