Description
The voice (or telecom) technician/engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the voice environment at selected customer locations in France (base office will be in Issy -les-Moulineaux, but other locations include Val de Reuil, Paris and Auneau). The installed base the technician supports is from the Avaya vendor.
6 month contract.
Typical activities include:
- general administration of telephony environment including moves, adds, and changes (simple soft MAC: phone feature change, activation, password reset,...)
- Hard MAC (cable patching & wiring) at the selected sites.
- Daily basic admin of all PBX, Voicemail systems and Contact Center
- Hardware support (eg handset configurations, maintenance and inventory)
- Work with suppliers, 2nd and 3rd level engineers and 3rd party manufacturers to ensure services are provided
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- technical understanding of wiring standards
- technical understanding of telecom technologies (Avaya)
- Independent worker, and self-motivated.
- Microsoft Office experience
