Senior Engineer
Our client is a Global technology company with operations in South Dublin. They currently seek an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have experience with extensive networking, compute and storage skills.
Role:
- Senior Systems Administrator with at least 5+ years hands-on system administration of Windows LAN/WAN.
- This role will also involve technically managing existing customer base and resolving any technical issues that are escalated from the Service Desk.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Exchange , MS Active Directory, Microsoft Hyper-V and System Centre suite of products.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft licensing programs.
- Proficient in all aspects of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc
- High availability system design/support
- Ability to work on own initiative is absolutely essential.
- Leadership skills are a must
Experienced Required:
- Degree educated preferably in IT or Business field
- Microsoft Certification desirable
- Checkpoint Technologies qualification desirable
- 5 years' experience on High Available systems is a must
