Description

Facilities/Maintenance Assistant is required for a monthly rolling contract on site at a leading digital agency based in London. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the overall appearance and safety their flagship office will be part of your responsibility. You will be expected to deliver excellent skills with 'facility' floorwalks, helpdesk and customer delivery. You'll be responsible for maintaining the structure, fabric and services of the premises in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety ensuring that the building is statutory compliant.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the in-house maintenance team and PPM schedules

Fully accountable for the management of Health and Safety on site

Responsible for sub contractors and project works

Responsible for maintenance regimes for all mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the building to ensure safety standards

Ensure full compliance with engineering and health and safety requirements

Develop the site risk management strategy

Develop and maintain PTW process

Developing new H&S policies and updating existing policies

Responsible for life safety systems and procedures

Skills:

You'll be a self-starter, motivated and flexible in both your approach and thinking

You'll have the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

Have a proven track record in maintaining and delivering M&E/Facilities services

You understand statutory requirements and have a working knowledge of workplace law

You can effectively manage 3rd party service providers ensuring they deliver against KPI/SLA

You'll be IOSH, or above, qualified

You'll have worked within a fast paced media/agency environment in a similar capacity
