SAP SRM Application Manager - 3 days per week - Amersfoort
SAP Application Manager Purchasing and preferably also knowledge of Maintenance, whereas knowledge of SRM is required.
Required skills. Knowledge of the SAP-system and other involved applications. Knowledge of SRM and related processes required, whereas Plant Maintenance knowledge preferable.
Willingness to travel and visit locations of the customer (only occasionally).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Languages: Dutch, English required, German desired.
Working in (project) groups Customer is implementing Information Management solutions for their major business processes. SAP (ECC 6.0 and Business Warehouse) will be used as the most important software tool for automating these processes supported by interfaced (loosely coupled) applications whenever SAP cannot be used.
SAP will be primarily used for processes regarding manufacturing, supply-chain, Sales & Marketing and Finance/Control, next to business reporting. This description is valid for the area Purchasing and Plant Maintenance.
The Application Manager reports to the Applications Operations Manager.
Working location: Amersfoort.
Period July-Dec 2012, appr 2-3 days a week.
Main responsibilities and tasks - Maintaining the applications in line with the customer business needs and organization. This assumes knowledge of the applications (mainly SAP) and its possibilities within the BU and knowledge of the business processes.
Acting on behalf of the BU as the primary contact person for end/key users regarding daily operations and functionality of the applications involved. Registering incidents and wishes regarding the functionality and operational working of the applications. Resolving problems and incidents in co-operation with third-party Back Office support. Applying improvements to the applications. Monitoring the overall performance of the applications. Application of controlling tools to achieve good quality and consistency of the data. Providing project support. Maintaining regular contact with responsible business key users of customer sites, the Process Manager and Applications Operations Manager regarding problems, improvements and requests with respect to the involved applications.
Required education/experience - HBO level of education in Information Technology. - Experienced in SAP Application Management - Knowledge of involved purchasing and plant maintenance processes. - 3 years of experience in an Information Technology related function.
