Description
My client requires a Researcher for a 3 month role in Milton Keynes. Paying up to £155 per day
Key Accountabilities
Undertake research into the current offerings of Work experience programmes (including but not limited to School Leaver, Summer Internships and Sandwich Placements)
Research what the business would like to offer in the future
Research Rationale and justification for offering these types of work experience programmes
Essential
Relevant research experience in dealing with large volumes of people and data
Excellent Report Writing skills
Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills - this research must be delivered within a short timescale
Influencing and negotiation skills
Computer literate (Word, Excel, Databases etc.)
Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including an excellent telephone manner and proven ability to communicate at all levels as the research will bring the individual into contact with people at all levels within the organisation
Desirable
Human Resources or Recruitment Experience
Understanding of the Work Experience/Internships market
Key Personal Skills
Relationship building
Excellent interview/subtle interrogation techniques. The ability to differentiate between the corporate response to questions and find out the reality of what is actually going on.
Detail focused.
Pragmatic
Ability to perform direct research, not just web based research.
Background
The candidate may have previously worked as a Researcher or may be a university student/graduate within a hard research (as opposed to soft research) discipline- perhaps in subjects such as archaeology, history, journalism, natural sciences
Attention to detail, analytical, logical thinker.
Character
The ideal candidate will be confident.
Once the task and objectives have been set they must have the confidence to push the project and the research forward.
They must have the rational to use discretion and determine which part of their findings are important and worth pursuit, and what is not.
The data that is produced will help us with recruitment plans and recommendations moving forward so it is important that this individual can report accurately and has a capacity to undertake the challenge set.
