Description
Our client is a hugely popular computer components brand seeking a Validation Test Engineer to provide imaging quality analysis and benchmarking.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and capture test images of mobile phone or tablet camera in the lab test or field test following the test plans.
- Keep accurate records of the software/hardware configurations and capturing conditions.
- Perform image quality measurement using PC Windows based software.
- Generate preliminary reports based on the test results.
- Help with lab set up, manage and improve lab equipment, replace broken parts, etc.
- Develop scripts or batch files to automate part of the image capturing or quality measuring.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Familiarity with Windows OS and batch commands
- Good experience of general computer software/hardware such as Microsoft Office, networking, etc.
- Basic knowledge of camera and imaging as an experienced user
- Basic knowledge of mobile phones or tablets
- Attention to details
- Patience and positive attitude
Estimated length of assignment: 6-12 months
Number of positions: 1
Estimated hours per week: 40
Travel required at least every other week.
Telecommuting: Regularly work out of various client labs in different U.S. locations.
