Our client is developing a JAVA based platform for one of the world's most popular make of cars. The unit sits on the head unit of the car and allows your phone to communicate with the head unit. The group is developing cutting edge technology in the automotive space, integrating mobile phone connectivity for vehicles, enabling drivers to safely access services like Pandora, iHeart Radio, Bing, OpenTable, Movie Tickets, and more.

OVERVIEW:
- Work with a small team of expert Front End Web Developers to build cutting edge web experiences
- Build out end user experience using the latest web technologies
- Collaborate with the team on optimized techniques to support great experiences across browsers
- Own the Front End web browser interaction, including user onboarding, subscription management, and user account management
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years development experience building and shipping enterprise Front End web properties
- 2 Years of DHTML/Web 2.0 development experience
- Ability to work directly with internal teams to meet project deliverables
- Passion for design and user experience
- Experience with jQuery/DHTML/AJAX user experiences
- Solid cross browser experience (IE/FF/Chrome/Safari)
- Extensive CSS experience, JavaScript development, and HTML 4/5
- Experience with JSP/Spring
- Experience building from wireframes and in-house production artwork
- Experience with SOA (REST, JSON), generating and consuming such services
- Experience with XML and XSLT
- Development experience with Java a plus
- Experience with various UI programming frameworks a plus
