Our client is a hugely popular computer manufacturing company seeking a skilled C Programmer to work in the area of platform level Power and Performance Measurements using standard and custom benchmarks.

OVERVIEW:

In this position, you will be working with members of the platform architecture team in developing working proof-of-concept, performing benchmark analysis and writing architecture specifications. This specification encompasses components, hardware platform, system software, OS and application software. Other responsibilities would include generating and assimilating data to perform Platform Level Tradeoffs such as power, performance, battery life, cost, and size to set the architecture for the platform. There will be multiple software projects ranging from application, frameworks and low-level driver projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/MS degree in CS/Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years software experience required
  • Development of Real Time Embedded software and device drivers
  • Strong C programming and debugging skills required (3+ years)
  • Strong initiative, strong communication and superior problem-solving skills

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Knowledge of crypto algorithms (eg, AES) and security related techniques such as SHA, RSA
  • Experience with board and RTOS Kernel bring-up a strong plus
  • Experience with debugging tools such as logic analyzers and gdb a plus
  • Good understanding of PC and/or Mobile Device architectures and internals
  • Some understanding of software development on Android
  • Experience with Linux/BSD Embedded systems with limited ROM and RAM memory
